Theatreworks USA Continued- The cast is really enjoying the show and getting to know each other. There was a lot of energy from both sides of the house. Theatreworks USA We had 2 perf of MOO yesterday & they were brilliant! I think it’s one of your best shows (in a long line of excellent shows.) Every time I see it, I see new flashes of genius. For example, when the cows & chickens confront each other and are snapping their fingers like in West Side Story. The songs are so funny and sn...appy and the choreography wonderful. I think this cast is as good as the one I saw at the premiere.

I’m [Technical Director] at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts in Madisonville, Ky. We had Seussical in yesterday, and I want to take a moment to express to you how much we enjoyed working with the Seussical crew. I rarely come across a group as pleasant and fun who all seemed to know their jobs quite well. The ...sound mix was good, load-in and load-out were extremely smooth, and we all enjoyed the performances immensely!
Our audiences were also very pleased, and I received nothing but very positive feedback after both shows. What a pleasant experience for everybody! This is why I always breath a little easier when I know that the next show is a TheatreWorks production. My 4 year old son had such a good time after the show getting ‘monkey lessons’! I’m sure that this was an experience he and I will cherish for life!

Why we do what we do as quoted from an email we received from David Brush, Manager of Education & Outreach at Dayton's Victoria Theatre:
"Good morning everyone and happy Friday – Sometimes in the middle of the day-to-day, I need a reminder of our mission and this email Ken forwarded to me did just the trick. And as the ...parent of a three-year old myself, this was that much more important to me. Yesterday, the cast of CHARLOTTE’S WEB visited Children’s Hospital to visit and read to short-term as well as long-term patients. This would seem a daunting task to ask of anyone (and I assure you it is) but the truth is, Dayton Children’s is a wonderful and joyful place as is my experience every time I go. It struck me that watching “Charlotte” reading to a captive audience of children in various stages of health and recovery was, in fact, at the very heart of what VTA does as an organization and what the arts in general are capable of. I would encourage you if you get the chance to make this important visit. Thank you to Cathy, Michael, Emily and Diane for helping make this visit possible as well as Theatreworks USA and the cast of CHARLOTTE’S WEB for your time.
